Description

With the introduction of CoreWeave’s newest data center, LGA1, located in Weehawken, NJ, we are immediately deprecating the legacy data center EWR1. We’ve invested heavily in the infrastructure and reliability of LGA1 (https://docs.coreweave.com/release-notes#say-hello-to-lga1), and feel it is in all clients’ best interests that we aggressively deprecate the existing data center. As of August 1, 2022, CoreWeave will no longer provide financial credit for any breach of the Service Level Objectives defined in our Terms of Service (https://docs.coreweave.com/resources/terms-of-service) for workloads running in the EWR1 data center. Clients are advised to migrate applications and critical workloads for the US-East region to our LGA1 data center as soon as possible. Compute, storage and networking services will continue to be available in EWR1 for existing workloads through September 30, 2022, but capacity and availability for any new workloads will be limited and is not guaranteed. If you have any questions or require help to migrate workloads or data between CoreWeave data centers, please reach out to your account executive, or [email protected]

Description

On Sunday, July 31 2022 from 11:00am EDT to 3:00pm EDT, we will be upgrading the Kubernetes orchestration layer of CoreWeave Cloud from 1.19.16 to 1.20.15. This maintenance event is deemed to be a Critical Infrastructure Maintenance under the CoreWeave Terms of Service. While there is no expected interruption to workloads or customer environments, the upgrade of core Kubernetes components carries extra risk. While we have tested this upgrade extensively to ensure compatibility with our base services, we ask that all CoreWeave Cloud customers assess their deployment and resource configurations to ensure that they will remain compatible with the upgrade. Please refer to the Kubernetes changelog for version 1.20.15 to identify any potential incompatibilities with your environment. For the avoidance of doubt, all changes listed in the 1.20 release log up to and including version 1.20.15 are additive and will be included in the upgrade on CoreWeave Cloud.
